Clinton’s International Council on Women’s Leadership

When Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, she carried out an extraordinary agenda, including restoring the reputation of the United States as a sensible partner. She also founded The International Council on Women's Business Leadership, which today still exists and examines the most pressing issues and problems in international business and economic policy, as they specifically pertain to women's economic participation and advancement.

[junkie-dropcap]Y[/junkie-dropcap]eah, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton did something else at the State Department that’s been shouted down by her former challenger, Bernie Sanders (the less I say about him, the better for all.)

Bet you didn’t know HRC did this: “The International Council on Women’s Business Leadership (ICWBL) was founded by Secretary Hillary Clinton at the State Department in 2011. The Council examines the most pressing issues and problems in international business and economic policy, as they specifically pertain to women’s economic participation and advancement. The Council is comprised of members who are global leaders in both the private and public sectors and possess a wide variety of expertise and interest in the role of women in international business, economic policy development and global economic growth.”
